Ashley Siefert Nunes
Zoe Middleton is the Associate Director for Just Climate Resilience for Climate & Energy program at the Union of Concerned Scientists. In her role, she shapes policy, research, and strategy agendas to drive the adoption of science-based, equitable policies at the local, state, and federal levels.
Prior to joining UCS, Zoe worked as a senior adviser on housing, environmental, and climate justice to Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis, and as the Houston co-director for Texas Housers, a statewide civil rights organization. In these roles, she focused on housing stability policy in America’s fourth-largest city, and equitable allocation of local and federal infrastructure funding.
Zoe holds a masters degree from the New School and a bachelors degree from Michigan State University.
