Michele Canales

Michele Canales is the Western States Policy Advocate at the Union of Concerned Scientists, where she supports the organization's regulatory and legislative policy solutions. Prior to joining UCS, Michele served as a policy analyst in the California State Senate, where she worked on state policy related to climate, environmental quality, water, and energy issues. Michele earned a bachelor's degree in sociology from the University of California, Berkeley.
