Lisa Nurnberger oversees the media team. Prior to joining UCS, Ms. Nurnberger worked as a public radio reporter for 15 years, most recently at WAMU, in Washington, DC. She has received a number of awards for her reporting work, including first place awards for breaking news and investigative reporting from the Society of Professional Journalists and a RIAS Berlin Commission award for a documentary on US-German relations. She has a B.A. in journalism from Pennsylvania State University.
