Kevin X. Shen is a Policy Analyst and Advocate for the Clean Transportation Program at the Union of Concerned Scientists. In his role, he works to promote a cleaner, more equitable transportation system in Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states. He also provides analyses to support electrification of medium- and heavy-duty vehicles and to map transportation related air pollution.
Prior to joining UCS, Kevin researched the connections between transportation, new technologies, and the workforce with MIT’s Work of the Future Task Force. Kevin holds an MS in transportation as well as technology and policy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BSE in civil and environmental engineering from the University of Michigan.
